My favorite blogs: Here’s what’s in heavy rotation in my google reader. If you don’t have a RSS reader for your favorite sites, I highly encourage it. I’m planning to write a post on RSS readers and my Google Reader setup soon.

  • Lifehacker: This site has a crazy amount of information covering a huge range of subjects. The focus is to provide “hacks”, tips and tricks to get things done better or more quickly. It’s hard to keep up with this site because of the frequency of posts (> 10 per day), but there is a wealth of good information here. I found out many of the productivity tips that I use now on this site first.
  • Get Rich Slowly: J.D. writes about his own journey from overspending and debt to becoming financially responsible and independent. The content here is good, and he also posts many good links. This site is almost exclusively about personal finance.
  • I Will Teach You To Be Rich: Ramit’s site has many great articles on personal finance, entrepreneurship, and customer service. This site is updated rather infrequently, but the posts are usually pretty substantive.
  • 43 Folders: Merlin Mann writes often about GTD (Getting Things Done) and how to implement it. This site is infrequently updated, maybe a couple of posts a week.
